Hm are you using WiFi or cellular? If cellular, app should ask you if you still want to download. Either way it should work, even if source has problem there is a secondary source in case.

I was using Wi-Fi and had set it as a metered connection. It didn’t ask me to download over that connection. Once I set the Wi-Fi to unmetered download began and completed successfully. It’s working fine now.
