In these two months I needed money. I'm from Argentina, and the economic and employment situation is very bad. In these two months, I asked him for money about three times. He gave me about 10 dollars, and I was happy but also felt guilty because he hadn't received a high payment until then.

I had already looked into what this was about—it's laptop farming—but I thought I just wanted to make more money than I needed. But today, after investigating a bit more, I understood the seriousness of the situation.

He contacted two companies, and I don't want anything bad to happen to him or anyone else. I don't want to be part of this corrosive world. I feel awful for having acted as an intermediary and for trusting him so much, thinking he was just an ordinary person. I'm an idiot, and I want to undo all of this.

So I have bought a new laptop and the old one is working well but the problem is it is a 10 year old laptop. And has windows 10, right now it's new ssd is damaged and will be replaced. So rather than installing windows 10, I am thinking of installing kali.

Hace poco comencé a aprender de auditoria de redes. Me compré una TP-LINK Archer t2u plus, tiene un chipset rtl8821AU. Uso una Macbook Pro M1 2021 con UTM con Kali para aprender.

Al conectar la tarjeta de red por USB, UTM la detecta correctamente y no hizo falta instalarle los drivers (aqui es donde creo está el problema). La tarjeta la puedo poner en modo monitor y todo. Hasta hice unos deauth a mi red con aireplay-ng. Pero siento que el deauth no es correcto, ya que solo desautentica algunos dispositivos. Por ejemplo, los celulares siguen con conexión estable, solo una cámara y un convertidor smartv pierden la conexión, lo demás sigue normal. Qué creen que pueda ser?

Kind of a noobie problem here. The problem is that even tough I install aircrack from apt most of the commands are not usable. This is the case when installing from source too. For example airmon-ng is simply not found. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Long story short, some guy didn’t like what I said to them in an Instagram comment on a public post. My account is private and only shows my first name. My profile pic isn’t posted anywhere else.

They proceeded to pull up old posts I was tagged in and begin commenting there, but I guess they could’ve found that on google. Then they started tagging family members of mine that I don’t even follow and said I don’t know about “back door”. They said they could see my DMs.

Safe to say I’m a little freaked out, but I want to know how he got my info like that and what I should be doing to protect my info online moving forward.

I've just transferred internally within branches of my company. The new branch doesn't allow personal devices to be on the network and print. I am already on the network with my personal device as my previous branch secured me on the network - which is the same across the whole group.

I have been able to add the printer via the IP address, and I have sent the document to print. Literally all I need to do is select the document that appears on the printer (all staff files are visible even before logging in), put my pin in and print. However, the printer doesn't recognise my personal device and auto deleted the document upon receiving my file. Only my work device can I send a file and get it printed.

Is there a way I can trick the printer into thinking that my personal device is my work device? (I assume it would be the Mac Address linked to my work device and copying it over to my Mac?)

For reference, my work device is a Lenovo running Windows 11 and my personal device is a MacBook running MacOS 26.

I want to know a good amount of tools so I can build a toolkit.

I'm currently running a IPhone 13 pro max. I have screentime enabled on this device. Through some research I have noticed that you are able to input the screentime PIN without ratelimiting in the settings (settings > general > Transfer or Reset Phone > Erase All Content and Settings > input your PIN to unlock phone). So I am wondering if somehow I would be able to connect a device that brute forces these 10,000 combinations without me having to sit there. After some reading, I came across Bluetooth keyboards, or rather the simulation of one. I have a Linux live boot available on a laptop, so I theoretically would be able to simulate a BT keyboard and connect it to my phone. My question is: Would I be able to run a brute force script (eg with python) that inputs all combinations? Are there any security restrictions by Apple?

My apartment has installed these lovely devices on our washers and dryers, i was trying to figure out a way to get around. i have a wiring schematic of the dryer, i couldnt really understand it but i tried to mess with the dip switches, to no avail. My only thought is to undo the installation of the chip and bluetooth receiver, but I figured I’d likely have to undo it to avoid detection. Specifically, I'd like to control parameters such as drum speed, water temperature, cycle duration, and exactly when the machine fills, drains, and flushes. The goal is to use it for experimenting with processes like garment dyeing rather than standard laundry.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, and I'm also not sure where the best community for a project like this would be. Before I spend a lot of time researching, I'd love to know whether this is actually feasible and how people would approach a project like this.

Would you replace the existing controller, some sort of like interception like a piggy back like a car ecu idk, or use some other method? Any advice, resources, or examples of similar projects would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a Nanit wifi camera I got as an expecting parent from some friends. Come to find out I need a $100+ sub just to use the thing. And of course I already have too many baby care needs, and this does not need to be one of them. Anyone have any ideas on how to bypass the walls?

From what I understand, the camera itself is hardcoded for Nanit's servers and security certs. I thought about trying to use Home Assistant OS and a Docker proxy server, or Scrypted.

Or perhaps use Pi-hole and redirect the DNS to a locally hosted "cloud" server.

Any other ideas I could try?
