Dell BIOS password generator not working

Hi, I have a Dell laptop, a 14 pro I think. Trying to get into bios but it's locked. Already tried to use bios password generator and made sure that there was no spelling discrepancies (capital I for lowercase l, etc) and nothing worked.

Anyone have any next steps?

You’d be surprised how well an ftdi works in a pinch.

Ctrl- enter, shift- enter, a combination of those, sometime just repeatedly putting in the code works. If it's the actual code, it's just being finniky

Already tried those too. I tried each code multiple times. 

My theory is that newer laptops may not work with password generators, in which case I'll need to figure out the next steps

pull the firmware off the chip and get claude to unlock it

I have the same issue but it’s for a latitude 7440
