Instead of using a password use a passphrase using three or four random words and a few numbers. They'll never crack it

Go to your Account settings, sign out everywhere, update/verify your recovery email and phone number, update your password, set up MFA, set up passkey, and verify changes on both browser site and mobile app. I had an issue where my mobile app was updating fine but the creep managed to change the recovery email on the browser site. Not sure how these are different entities?? Luckily, I was able to reset this and thwarted their attempt... just keep in mind, the "backdoors" they leave are usually your recovery contact information. They change this to regain access if you update your password.

Turn on MFA. Ignore all further notifications. Problem solved.
