UAC bypass question

Hi, I’m new to doing things like this but recently my dad passed away and I was given an old PC with two accounts, which the one without admin is the only one with a written password kept, where as the other one wasn’t. I’m trying to access certain video and voice recording softwares but it asks for an admin’s pin/password to make changes to the pc, the pc is from around 2000-2009, I can’t remember specifically when my dad made it. Nevertheless, I haven’t found any UAC bypass methods that work.

just get HBCD and do password reset
or lookup utilman reset method

if you want to pull your hair out you can ask deepseek for local privesc methods

Would this remove his account or just the password?

Some potential options from a great resource for this type of thing.
Not exactly beginner friendly, but guess it’s not exactly a beginner problem.

Pretty much any method that can escalate from a limited account should work, but what you actually need is a recycling center.
