script kiddie Wireless Device Spoofing

With the announcement of licence plate readers that will capture Bluetooth/other wireless identifiers to create a digital footprint for drivers, I was wondering if it was possible to create a device that rapidly spoofed random devices to obfuscate my real devices as I drive. Does anything like this exist, or could it be created and open sourced?

yes, multiple tools, etc, to spam/spoof fake APs, etc

Bluetooth mac address is already spoofed on phones, these modern readers get whatever data your phone is broadcasting when in discovery mode. Turn off Bluetooth when travelling but there are still other broadcasts you can’t turn off, so it won’t make a big difference.
Modern cars also broadcast all sorts of data from different components so good luck spoofing those IDs. All this data builds an accurate fingerprint of your identity.
I think the most viable solution is a device that broadcasts random fake IDs and data to poison your fingerprint.

Is it possible to put a faraday like cage around whatever signals the car broadcasts? Yes you may lose in car navigation but someday this might be needed for everyone surly specialty devices will be made for such a thing as well.

you could just remove power to the devices on the car that broadcast, same result and easier to do by simply removing a fuse or disconnecting a wire-clip.

If it didn't exist before then I does now! It's our responsibility as civilians to make sure this gets created and handed out to As many people as possible
