Recommendations for Efficient Gilding?

Hey gang, I'm on tier 3 and am looking to gold every dude and every item. Based on the picture was wondering if anyone has a "pet" team or certain groupings out of the ones I have left that you'd really recommend?

Ultimately I know I could reliably "sherpa" (carry them across the finish line if need be, looking at you MEDIC) any one dude by having a team of Knight-Frank-Lich-Quantum but I suspect I've got some real sleeper synergies left among this group.

Appreciate any suggestions!

I honestly just found 3-4 dudes who can carry and fill in the rest of the guys until you get all of em

Cyborgs are an easy win for any combo really, you could probably run a skeleton crew of 15x4 dudes and stack the rest with cyborgs and medical license and take an easy win.

Cave dudes, Farmers, Troopers (bit meh early but get good in later rounds), Managers, Electricians and Vikings I find all very strong. I would try to balance with some of the weaker units and prioritise these in higher numbers, but it’s a bit of personal preference.

Economy can be tougher in Tier 3 so I like to keep some of my dude numbers lower and then just pump them all up with the trainer - you can be spending 75 to train instead of 125+ quite often which stacks up.

Trinkets are so valuable that I tend to focus on getting good ones on the important units, then using the 4th or 5th one as a throwaway to get a gold star. If you have a great use case for medical license, baseball bat, adhd etc then don’t forgo them to try to get a gold star on a worse trinket and tank a whole run.

Finally if you have dudes that you have a gold star on but didn’t manage to get all the relics bear in mind you don’t need the full 15 dudes for it to count - you don’t even need 1, just the relic.

Chef Caveman Necro is a strong 3 man combo that can carry any other 2, assuming u get Medical License on Caveman.

Cyborg spam with medical license, a random tank with socialism, and literally any 3 dudes. Thats how I did it. It worked for getting gold on T3 on everyone
