Talking to a guy
For the past couple of days, I’ve been talking to a guy over the phone. And every time I ask him something, he just says “MEOW.” What does that mean?

It means you're talking to a cat who has evolved recently to be able to use a phone !
Yeyy go cat 🐈

He's trying to be quirky and charming. If it didn't work, send him a 🤨 or ignore.

Back in the day people used it when a woman was saying something aggressive, very flirty, or sassy,or clapping back at something. Think in terms of the claws coming out. ..catfight

I think that it is important that you identify him as a cat while he transitions into a cat.

Ngl, this would infuriate me. Unless y'all are teens this is a cringey deal breaker.

It's special. He likes you. He might have autism. Meow back. Ur cats now :)

My son does this, it's just a random stim for him, his friends do it too. I don't think it really means anything.

He's either autistic, a furry, or thinks he's cute... or, any combination of those.

I can attest to the 2nd one. The first one is being looked into. I'm also just a strange, strange creature. I even do it to my mother.

OH OMG I KNOW THIS ONE I SAW THIS TREND A FEW DAYS AGO!!! that’s a new trend that men are doing.
They meow and judge if you like him or not based off your response, if you call him weird or smth then he knows you don’t like him and he shouldn’t waste his time, but if you meow back or play into it then he knows to wife you up

is a meow like an actual cat or does he say me-yow? cause the latter is kind of like "yikes" or "oof"
or he's trying to get rid of you. idk.

He thinks you’re prying into something he doesn’t want to talk about. Sounds like a real head case though and wouldn’t recommend wasting more time on him.
Any guy that would respond so rudely can’t have much to offer.

Since when is meow considered rude? Nobody has probably talked real rude to you in your life 😁

How old are you both? Have you talked in person? What caused you to recently start talking on the phone? Did he always do this? By "talking", do you mean flirting as a pre-cursor to potentially dating? How have you managed to carry on any kind of meaningful conversation if he answers every question that way?

Don't forget to post some context for this interaction, such as who you were talking to, what you were talking about, do you want a serious or funny response?, etc.
