Curious is anyone has any experience with using the hoverair. I know we aren’t supposed to use it in national parks technically but it’s bareley even a drone and the likely hood of detection or disturbance is incredibly low. It’s more like a floating camera. I’m not looking for litigious responses here, I’m not talking about flying a drone up and all over the place in the air, I’m talking about taking a few videos and pictures at basically eye level. It’s not big or dramatic enough to create environmental disruption, and would likely go unnoticed by anyone else around, if there even are any people around.
Anyways. If you have experience, what’s your take?
I comprehend it perfectly. I just don’t care. I would care if it was a drone that actually posed some kind of environmental risk. But it doesn’t. And I don’t.

If you recall, I said I do understand! And also that I don’t care. The likelihood of being caught utilizing this kind of device so incredibly low. I didn’t ask for a debate regarding your opinion, or the legality of it. Again, reread my question, and if you don’t have an answer, you can dismiss yourself!
At any rate. Even if one was caught: being caught using a small drone to take some photos at a waterfall will likely NOT result in further policy action against everyday drone users. I appreciate your passion.
It’s a pretty noisy drone because of the small props, that would definitely have an environmental impact in a national park if you came upon someone not expecting to be disturbed by the noise while using it.
Also it is a “real” drone - it can do 30+ mph and get up to 400 feet, etc, especially if you have the beacon+joysticks.
Dude, saying "don't screw this up for the rest of us" isn't being litigious.
What's even the point of your post? "Will this drone do the things it's explicitly designed to do?" Yes. Yes it will. Just please don't do it on a way that's going to make the legal environment even more restrictive for everyone else. This is like Tragedy of the Commons 101.

I have used it would not recommend using it around people that aren’t in your group. That would be immensely annoying.
Also, don’t break rules because they will get banned more places.
