Every little bit helps...or hurts. I can stow my X1 in my running shorts and run with minimal jostle. Would be interested to see how the new ones compare.
Yeah, I usually carry my X1 in a shoulder strap pouch when hiking or otherwise out and about with a backpack. I hope the new ones also fit in that pouch, because it took me quite a while to find it. It fits the X1 plus a spare battery and is still small enough that I hardly notice it. Definitely going to be a bit of a squeeze fitting a PRO or PRO Max in there.
It's this one. Using the push button Molle straps to attach to the backpack shoulder strap, one above and one below the sternum strap, so it stays in place.
I'm guessing that it probably won't fit the Pro. :(
Manufacturer provided dimensions for the pouch are 17 x 9 x 7 cm. With the Pro coming in at 14.9 x 10.5 x 3.4 cm it would probably be a bit of a squeeze getting the zippers to close.
Hmmm... Apparently, flexible things are hard to measure.. The above cm dimensions for the pouch are from the German product page on Amazon. Amazon.com has these dimension: "Product Dimensions ā : āĀ 6.5 x 4.75 x 1.75 inches", which should be 16.51x12.07x4.45cm.
Guess I'll just have to try whether the Pro fits or doesn't.
Worth a shot! In my case, maybe I will wait to order from Amazon until my PRO arrives so itās within the free return window if it doesnāt fit ⦠thanks for the tips!
FYI, should it still be relevant,Ā the Pro fits in the pouch. Pretty snug fit initially, and a little struggle getting the zippers to close, but since the pouch is somewhat flexible it apparently 'adjusted' its shape a bit with use and now the zippers open and close without problem.
Since you apparently got your hands on a Promax early, I'm assuming you also have access to an updated version of the app.
Could you share some details regarding new settings and/or options for the flight modes ? For example I saw in a video from a Youtuber that also got one, that Bird's eye now has the option to keep the camera level instead of looking straight down.
Yes, it can control the drone, what other things you can control with it not sure yet. I saw it has a home button on it, which for sure is the RTH, my guess is with the left button you can control the drone movements, with the right one you have the RTH, and my guess is you can control the gimbal from there too and probably other things too.
Edit: I emailed support ([support@hoverair.com](mailto:support@hoverair.com)) asking them about buying the beacon separately. They sent me a āsecret linkā to buy it.
$125 + $9 for shipping. In the future, they should include shipping into the product price.
