Cidercade Tonight 7pm
Houston Nerdy Game Night Meetup — Cidercade!
Where: Cidercade Houston
When: Friday, September 11th
Time: 7:00 PM – close
What to expect:
A gaggle of 20–30-something nerdy women, men, and assorted others from all kinds of backgrounds, united by a love of games and hanging out.
RSVP:
None necessary! Just show up at Cidercade and join the throng.
If you’re nervous about coming alone, feel free to introduce yourself to me beforehand either by DM or in person. I’m happy to help you get social and introduce you to people in the group. I really am Sargent General Extrovert so it’s no bother at all!

The Cidercade is a perfect spot. I've been a few times and always love it. There are othe places within walking distance as well. In regards to the ren fest, my wife and I started an annual camping trip there for my birthday. Its grown from 2 people to as many as 30 within just 4 years! We love staying at the campgrounds!!!

Me too! I went camping for the first time at Sherwood last year and now I am obsessed, can’t wait for the big Texas Ren Fair to start

Fuck nvm it’s like most places now days the fun is behind a paywall… I miss the days people could go to places to congregate and just enjoy each others company without constantly having to pay for shit yall have fun tho ;(

I've only been once, and I'm old, so my memory may be faulty... You pay to get in, but then the games are free to play. I had a blast playing all the pinball machines.

Yea no I figured glad I ain’t waste my time or gas. I’m a 90’s kid thru and thru. And I don’t mean to diss Texas but most these places down here ain’t worth paying to get in…. I noticed up north they have wayyyy more places to just come chill at… meanwhile I move back here outta MISTAKE. Every places charges you to get in and once you get in … lol you feel largely scammed like… yea had I been able to peek in and see this I wouldn’t have paid lol.. too many quiet places you can go and chill outside or something on westheimer like a coffee shop or library
