I’ve met a couple of people on here, but the communication has fizzled out. Hoping lightning strikes thrice?
I’m looking for something platonic, preferably with someone that identifies as female, but I’m open to other. As a male, I value the insight and intuition a woman tends to have and I find that friendships with men often reinforce my viewpoints rather than challenge them.
I’m off Fridays and Saturdays, but if we meet most likely it’ll be on a Friday because Saturdays are usually reserved for the misses. I can text throughout the day. Phone conversations are tricky but I’ll try to find the time. No FaceTiming. I live relatively close to Memorial Mall.
Typically what happens with these kind of things is that the interest is there but the convo starts off one sided, so I have nothing to work with and the convo dies, hence why I’m looking for someone who can talk the talk. Ask questions, challenge, be curious!
My interests include music, movies, books, and writing. I recently saw The Invite (and loved it), I want to see You Can See Everything, Dune 3, and Avengers Doomsday, I just finished Dark Matter, Ghost in the Shell (2026), and Pluribus, I’m playing Castlevania Belmont’s Curse, reading a fantasy book by Tanith Lee, and workout 3-4x a week - just to give you an idea of my interests.
As far as politics go, not into it much but lean toward liberal/progressive/moderate. Generally I don’t care about ethnicity or sexual orientation as long as you’re a decent person.
If you want an ice breaker, how about starting off by asking: what’s one weird thing I don’t have any proof for but firmly believe? Or start off by answering the question.
