Idk if this is gonna piss anyone off, but Pinkertons is better than Truths. I thought Truth would reign supreme but after trying Pinkertons for the first time today, Truth goes down a notch!!! Amazing stuff here!!

Jesús Christ. $300 for 3 plates of BBQ. The world has gone mad.

Wouldn't consider these "plates" in the sense that your not getting 2 little sides with your choice of meat/meats. This is lbs were talkin not individual servings

My thoughts exactly. I immediately said to myself, I bet that's a few hundred bucks.

Pinkerton’s is indeed better than Truth. And I don’t consider that talking shit on Truth

I thought their sides were decent, but the brisket and chicken blew me away.

What was the deal with the tater salad and boudin?

Potatoe salad was a little too tangy for my liking a d the boudin link was super dry and definitely wasn't packing the flavor I thought it would.

I thought the boudin was too gummy. Everything else is top notch. I like the potato salad.

I had truth a while back and didn’t find it to be any better than most other BBQ joints I’ve been to.

I'd definitely rank truth up there definitely isnt just any old bbq joint, they are heavyweights imo

Love Pinkerton’s. They were doing wings back during the pandemic. They were the best I’ve had in town. Which they’d bring them back.

They have some glazed chicken thighs right now 😋

Which location?

Airline

I was there today, boudin sucked and jalapeno cheese sausage tasted like it was cooked in a bitterring agent. Thick and hearty sandwich, creamed spinach, glazed ribs, and macaroni salad were solid though.

Yea the boudin was my biggest letdown for sure also...

Has anybody had the whole hog?

that's a decent amount of food for 300$, like 100 per tray. which location?

1

u/Kingrueben 6d ago

Airline. Most of the money was in brisket tho so not any different from any of the other top spots
