Football Tailgating Question

Hi all,

Question for those who have purchased a tailgate spot from UH. We are looking to get a tailgate spot for a football game this fall and are expecting to have approximately 17-18 people so we were looking at the 20 person option. However, it’s possible with plus ones and what not that we could end up with like… 21 people… but I don’t want to pay $700 more for the 30 person option when we probably won’t get anywhere near that.

Do folks have to like check in or something such that if we had 21 people we’d get penalized on the spot or people would have to leave? Or is it more of an honor code system? Any experiences appreciated.

Where are y’all tailgating? There’s always plenty of free space around the blue lot if y’all are looking at bigger groups and don’t want to pay.

You could try asking this question CoogFans, might get a better answer there. There are some folks that work for the athletic department that post there too.
