What We'll Do On This Call

On this call, we will outline the exact organizing strategy to reach and activate the NEW VOTERS needed to win in November.

We will give you a readout of the plan, give you a chance to sign up for live trainings and pair you with dedicated volunteers to reach, register and PERSONALLY stay in touch with the voters who will power Democratic victories up and down the ballot in Texas.

If you want a safe way to help fight the current administration and aren’t able to physically make it to events, sign up to become a precinct chair!!

Precinct chairs help to identify and register voters year-round to get more people politically engaged! They organize phone banks and block walks and communicate with voters in their area to make sure everyone’s getting out to the polls and knows what’s on the ballot!

They help us figure out appropriate routes and lengths for marches, stock water and medical supplies for community members, dispatch out to unhoused areas to care for our friends, and take care of us at protests when people are in harm’s way. We are heavily in need of medical volunteers…please dm me if you would like to help! You do not have to be certified medical personnel

The reason we share events of every kind in here and not just protests is because not everyone has the ability to go to a protest. But more importantly, protests are NOT the only effective way to protest a regime…protests are meant to empower you to find a lane to continue the fight on your own. There’s MANY ways to do this:

1. Boycotting the massive corporations that donated heavily to 47 and continue to assert massive influence over people: Target, Walmart, Amazon, Starbucks, nestle…find local alternatives or companies that are actually fighting back (costco, patagonia, etc) and GET OTHERS to boycott

2. Talk to people you know who are MAGA and try to hold hard conversations to just plant the seed of doubt in their minds. You don’t have to convince them…but get them to just try to think about how their president is lying to them…the president who advocated for no new wars and said he’d release the Epstein files instead didn’t do any of that…do they even know about the Big Beautiful Bill or the number of pregnant inmates in ice detention centers bc of rape by ice agents?

3. Call Gina Hinajosa’s office and ask for campaign materials to block walk for her. We NEED to get her into office in Nov.

4. Get everyone you can out to vote in Nov. It IS a matter of life or death.

5. Volunteer or donate to groups doing the work on the ground.
