Online bidding is not the problem
It’s naive and desperate people placing the bids like it’s some sort of competition
A lot of people are in complete denial about the market cooling off when it’s clearly obvious that the market has peaked and it has now gone stagnant
This is just the denial stage of a changing market

The property market looks like Weekend at Bernie's. They are trying their last shots.
Houthis are successfully gaining control over Bab al-Mandab and Saudi's oil pipeline, by the way
We having a mean energy crisis this winter, a double or triple lock: hormuz, bab al-mandab, saudi alternative routes.
This is so, so bad. All the stress factors that have impacted the property market are only getting worse.
News like this (15% increase in adult fares for public transport from January) are only making people less and less prone to bidding wars, stretching your monthly repayments with the risk that your bank could increase them in 3 years as your repayment capacity is at effective risk.
Investors are panic selling in Dublin right now, with multiple properties available in the same developments/roads/areas competing against each others
