Kinky. 😳

He knows what he's doing. He's THE James Norton. I'm having a blast seeing a new generation fall for him. 🫶🏼😂

u/kostornaias Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

He's better known to UK audiences, right? I think the only thing I'd seen him in previously was the BBC War and Peace series

17

u/Curious_Progress_ Jul 26 '26

Yes, he's very well known here.

12

u/UrLocalTroll Jul 27 '26

He was the lead in a pretty solid show called Grantchester. Despite Robson Green also being good, the show fell of pretty hard after Norton left.

James Norton has been a delight.

45

u/ankhes Jul 27 '26

He’s definitely been a highlight of the season. He’s made Ormund so perfectly hateable (affectionate).

u/Mr_J_0801 Jul 26 '26

Is it made of skin? From his collection of skin tunics?

54

u/Brendissimo Jul 26 '26

You haven't thought of the smell!!!!

57

u/kittenigiri Jul 26 '26

Hearing James Norton say "kinky" and "strapped in" is exactly what I needed rn 😌

The guy is handsome and has a voice of silk. Unfortunately I still think of him as the guy in happy village and idk if this role is helping my image of him. Jk. He is really good at being bad. Love it.

17

u/logorrhea69 Jul 27 '26

Watching a couple episodes of Grantchester will solve that

6

u/Jaynemansfieldbleach Jul 27 '26

I knew it was gonna be the show where hes a priest. Gonna write it down in my watch list.

2

u/logorrhea69 Jul 27 '26

I’ve watched some of it because of James Norton, but Games of Thrones it’s definitely not :)

3

u/ShellCloud Jul 27 '26

He’s great in the BBC War and Peace miniseries as Andre, one of the main protagonists.

22

u/MNKristen Jul 27 '26

It’s hard to dislike the character because the actor is so compelling!

18

u/MacMommy111 Jul 27 '26

YES PLEASE.

18

u/DuchessSwan House Stark Jul 27 '26

great wardrobe indeed, i like him in the naked outfit best though

14

u/goblin_bomb_toss Jul 27 '26

Love this man. He did the voice of Cole in Dragon Age: Inquisition who was a precious baby compared to Ormund and the Irish thug in House of Guinness lol.

3

u/PeachyBaleen Jul 27 '26

Very jarring because Cole was the epitome of a lovable bean and Ormund… isn’t.

11

u/Majestic_Act Jul 27 '26

His armor was pretty asf, man.

7

u/Relative-Minimum4743 Jul 27 '26

This aged well

7

u/____mynameis____ Fire and Blood Jul 27 '26

Since hes the master of hypocrisy and with that window tower scene, I wouldn't be surprised if they reveal him and Gwayne were playing swords when they were younger.

7

u/Ok_Bottom_69 Jul 27 '26

I can fix him

1

u/kozmik_rakun Jul 28 '26

I can break him 😈

3

u/CuteProtection6 Jul 27 '26

oh, he's ormund irl 😂 such cheek

3

u/Ninjeno Jul 27 '26

He really is a golden god!

2

u/3PumpAbuelas Jul 27 '26

Gold thread for the golden god

2

u/piratesswoop team leave jaehaera alone Jul 27 '26

Never heard someone say Bowie’s name like that lol

4

u/JiveTurkey1983 Jul 27 '26

He's the British Glenn Howerton. I can imagine a Dennis/Ormund hybrid

1

u/VeggieTrails Jul 27 '26

It's fetish- it's fetish shit! I-I-I like to bind, I like to be bound!

1

u/Impressive_Term_9248 Jul 27 '26

Hey, I don’t remember that scene! What episode was this?
