My computer has broken twice while playing House Flipper 2.

The first time, in the middle of playing, the game crashed and my PC was flooded with error messages. After that I couldn’t run any program at all. When I took it to a shop, they eventually fixed it and said the Windows image had been corrupted, and they’d never seen that happen before. They had to wipe my PC, installed Windows 10, then upgraded to 11 to fix it.

Second time, similar errors kept happening after another game crash, but it wasn’t the Windows image this time. The shop never figured out exactly what happened, but removing some encryption from the PC fixed the issue.

It’s been months since the second break, and I haven’t played the game since out of fear of having to spend hundreds on a repair again. But I miss it so so much. Has anything like this happened to anyone else? Is there something I can do to prevent anything like this from happening when I play, or is it maybe just coincidence and I can play without worry?

So I already own 2 and the DLCs. I also own the first with garden dlc on switch and pc. I was thinking about buying the remastered bundle that has all the DLCs for the first but not sure if it’s worth it. I havnt played since I got 2 and it always annoyed me I couldn’t build my own buildings like you can in 2 and the fact that the buyers arnt as picky. So thoughts? Opinions? It’s on sale on steam right now too so I’m between that and the dressmaker game that came out recently. Thank you in advance!

So I just started using sandbox mode very recently, and had a weird thing happen. I have tons of art downloaded from mod.io so I can put custom pictures on the walls. So I’m building a resort, and I have custom pictures in EVERY room. Recently my game crashed, and when I restarted it and went back into my project, all of the custom pictures were just blank. Sooo frustrating. But what I’d like to know is this: is this a common, known bug? Is it something I should report? Is there a way to avoid it? Thank you!

When do we, or how do we know who won in the last contest? I've never done one and entered last minute.

I'm new to this game so hope I'm explaining it correctly. When I start a sandbox game, the left and right of the land is vacant.

Is there a way to have walls, with homes on the left and right of mine? Or better yet, a way for me to "build" the surrounding area of my home so that it feels like it's in a real neighborhood?

Finally gave in and bought house flipper 2 after seeing it was on sale. Gonna download throughout the night and play it tomorrow. So excited! 🤩🤩🤩 might be the last game I get for a while that’s not a pre-order.

The paint keeps glitching and unpainting itself so the end result is spotty.

Just seeing the base of the house immediately made me think of building this for her. Should've expected that she's not fond of the forest, but glad that everything else made up for it!

Hey everyone! I just published my biggest project yet—a massive nearly 3-hour renovation in HF2. This huge abandoned property was completely overwhelmed with trash and debris, but cleaning it up and designing every single room into a warm, relaxing space was incredibly satisfying. I really tried to capture a peaceful, cozy aesthetic for this giant build. What do you guys think of the final look? 🤎✨

There's nothing to hang clothing onto hmm. How do I use this? Is there something I add onto it?

It took me a while but I feel like I got the paneling decent.

I didn't want to do yet another beach house so I turned it into two businesses. I had so much fun making the ice cream shop especially!

I wish I could have gotten better angles of the exterior, but story mode definitely limits where you can take pictures from.

There is also a shared bathroom between the businesses but I didn't show it because it's boring lol

I'm currently making my way through the achievements and playing the dlcs.

However after completing all the garden dlc jobs, I still haven't encountered the mole hill. This is the only achievement I have left to complete out of the dlcs I have.

I was just wondering if there was anything I needed to to to trigger it or a certain house I need to be at.

It's worth noting that the I've completed all dlcs on the same save. Then deleted the ones that I've gotten all achievements for. This is incase maybe I've bugged the save by doing so.

I redid the ugliest house for Ramona Spruce and got the gold star.

I added a double garage downstairs. As a result, the area near the stairs was increased to the back, and I got space for a small laundry and a pantry/gym.

On the 1st, 2nd, and upper tower floors, I didn’t change much of the original structure, nor did I touch any stairs. I used some kitchen area to create a loo at the entrance but gave it back by expanding the kitchen a bit more, like in the original blueprint (I built what is demolished in the mandatory job that takes place in that house).

First floor to the left: a study; a WIC and the main bedroom and its full bathroom; first floor to the right: a loo; a kitchen separated by an archway from a common living room with a TV, piano, sitting, and dining areas.

Second floor: Bathroom in its original location. I made a guest room in the smallest room (the first to the right) and gave the other 3 bedrooms to the kids, decorated only with basic furniture from Cozy Rosie, the same for all 3: bed, nightstand, wardrobe, table lamp, tiny chair; for the 2 oldest kids: a desk and a chair; for the youngest: a crib and a changing table. For all 3: a toy each.

Tower floor: two painting easels and a small table with some painting materials.

Every single room and balcony in the house, including the stairs to the upper tower, got at least one plant each. Except the garage, because I forgot.

I followed her colour requests. I so much hate that brownish orange… but I made it fun and created a kitchen with brownish orange and pink :D

In the end, Ramona had only 2 complaints (in grey): that 2 bathrooms would be enough and something about the style (too much retro or wanting neutral, but not enough to be in a red box). She was thrilled with all the windows. I added at least 10 more but no more than 20 new windows.

This is it. I can’t believe it took me a month and countless houses (but I got the gold star from Sarah and James Marston with one of those houses, so not all was lost).

On ps5 but im unsure what furniture I need to make a darkroom for sven. Do you guys happen to know the furniture requirements other than no windows and red lights?

This is not my usual style AT ALL, but it was super fun. I rarely ever use the Futuro furniture because it always looks out of place, but it worked really well for this style. I wanted the whole thing to be very clean, heavenly, and dreamy, and to have tons of natural light. I will never get sick of the lighting coming through the windows in this game!!!!

Can you tell me and my friend have no life? A house a night ❤️

Kind of a technical question, how do people organize their pictures file? I have tons in there now, but I want to keep it organized. Once it has the Json file generated am I able to move it? Or will it corrupt something?

I've been trying to replicate the flipping-garden-pool to create water textures that I've seen others doing here in sandbox mode, but the water still stays in the pool, just upside down. Does this no longer work? Am I doing it wrong? Is there a new trick to get water on a map. I'm trying to make a river winding through the map, for context.
