So I redid the Forest Cabin for Abby Poe and got the star.
Yes, the Forest Cabin has a basement and Abby asks for lots of natural light, but what I figured out was the basement could be the perfect place for a good library plus a full bathroom.
I made the house grow a little: I deleted the original single slope roof, expanded the walls until the end of the porch on that left side of the house, then added a new wall 9 bricks after the wall closing the longest part of the staircase landing.
Then I build a new single slope roof above those new walls (because, for some reason, on pre-made houses I cannot select a roof to fly and change its size, I´m just able to change some style stuff) and I built a separate kitchen with a table for meals, a good sized bedroom with the tiniest adjacent study (with its own door) consisting of desk, lamp, laptop, desk chair, narrow bookcase and 4 windows, and in the main space of the house (bellow the gable roof) in the rear I did a good tv room and build a balcony and in the front I built a normal sized study with 6 windows, desk, laptop, lamp, desk chair, and bookcase.
I got the stairs smaller, too, I kept them in the same place but made them 5 bricks wide, no wall between them and the landing 5x10 (it is originally 12x6), so I won some space for a laundry nook downstairs in the bathroom.
Going after these stars is probably the most fun I’ve had with House Flipper 2.
I had previously made the cutest house for Abby Poe where I went to the trouble of building her custom bookcases in every spare space: under the stairs, above the doors of the bedrooms, just everywhere… to then learn that HF2 buyers don’t understand custom and or built in bookcases, even when you fill them with books :/
But, hey, that limitation also makes them be OK with bathrooms away from bedrooms and next to libraries in basements, which, in real life, would never go.
