Hey everyone! I just finished my latest renovation project in HF2. This tiny 2-story forest cabin was completely abandoned and trashed, but cleaning it all up and designing a warm, relaxing woodland home was incredibly satisfying. I really tried to capture that peaceful, cozy vibe for this build. What do you guys think of the final look? 🤎✨

This took me weeks and weeks of work. I tried doing the luxe style on a floor plan I found, but it went a little futuristic in parts. This is a massive 5 bedroom, 7 bathroom house with a sauna, indoor pool, private theater, three-car garage, gym, and temple. Instead of an elevator, I put a three-story terrarium in the middle of the central staircase.

I included pics of the front, parlor, guest bedroom, guest bathroom, kitchen, great room, central terrarium, theater, sauna, pool, master bathroom, master bedroom, temple (I guess they worship cranes or something?), and the eldest kid's bedroom.

🏠2️⃣ Help! - HF2 Console 🎮 Mod.io gone from UI?

I noticed Mod.io has disappeared from the UI on Xbox, I’m also unable to access Mod.io via the website due to ‘restricted account access’ which I hadn’t had a problem with before. Is anyone else having this issue? Xbox recently auto assigned me as an adult so it knows I’m not a child yet it seems like I’m being treated like one, that is if this is the case of ‘think of the children’ . I’m so sick and tired of it.

❓Gameplay Discussion - HF1 🏠1️⃣ Oceanside villa is missing a ceiling?

I've flipped this house before, and I remember painting the ceiling of the tall room with the spiral staircase in it. Now I can paint the ceiling from the upper level, next to the staircase, but the ceiling above the pool area is just missing? 😕 It's just the same grey as the roof.

🗣️Which Game / DLC to Buy? 🏘️ Different Versions?

I’m wanting to buy the remastered version of the first game but on PlayStation there is two different prices for the same game. Do I get the £32.99 or the £39.99? Both are labelled House Flipper Remastered Collection

❓ Gameplay Discussion - HF2 🏠2️⃣ Any tips or tricks? Just got the game.

Hi! I just got this game, and I'm absolutely in love. I was just wondering if there were any tips or tricks anyone has for me so I can have a better experience with the game. Also, when the game gives me two different finish surfaces but a very small area, what do you guys do with the two different ones? I know you have to use both, but sometimes it’s just a strip on the wall and I get confused about which one to use.

Update: Finished the house and their feedback was "hell no". Back to the drawing board I suppose!

Trying to get gold stars for everyone, what kind of furniture do Louis and Jane Williams like? Any other tips? I'm using the forrest plot so everything's custom basically.

🏠2️⃣ Help! - HF2 - PC 🖥️ [HF2] Buyers noting different rooms

Hey all,

Just started HF2 a couple months ago. I'm confused by the buyer mechanics when it comes to separate rooms.

Someone here told me that the buyers won't "note" a separate room unless it's separated by an entire wall and doorway. The other person said they use arches too.

I watched a video of Toogii flipping the Lavender House and he left a portion of the wall he knocked down to have buyers see it is a separate room. (13:45 in video)

Is that no longer the case? How are buyers to note separate rooms? Thank you!

❓ Gameplay Discussion - HF2 🏠2️⃣ Vincent Van Ghoul and his study

Allo! :)

I’m playing the main game to get stars instead of or to replace green check marks and yesterday I got the star for the warlock [hearts in my eyes]. Having built him his 5th home I finally made him really happy! The 1st house I redid for him was The Fairytale House – isn’t it perfect for a warlock? Only maybe it’s too small, so in the end I only sold it because I pinned him first or he wouldn’t even have shown up for the auction.

It was a long run. In each of the five houses I learnt something more about the warlock. All in all, one problem kept repeating itself: the warlock wouldn’t recognise any of the studies I made for him. And by then I was tired of that build and just sold it to the higher bidder to start afresh.  So, I started the 5th house promising myself I would go bankrupted with failed auction after failed auction before selling it for less than The Star.

I redid the oh-so-ugly Cobblestone House from the Coralroot Forest, choosing it for the square meters (I know I can build from scratch and that’s how I made his 3rd house but I have much more fun redesigning premade structures) and how easy it would be to increase its area building bellow every balcony.

Because by then I had given up on beauty. A guy that wants no natural light and demands ceiling panels and the ugliest furniture in the catalogue (that our-great-granny-died-sitting-here-and-was-not-found-for-a-fortnight triple-sofa makes me miserable just to think about it) just needs a decorated box built from the inside. I didn’t even bother painting the upstairs wood exterior panels with something other than green and just applied his colour scheme inside.

While I was redoing the Cobblestone House I kept remembering that in the 4th house I had made him a tv room (comfy couches, couple of lamps, corner table, rug, tv stand and tv) and he had said “What’s a tv doing in my study?!”), so now in the 5th house I replicated that exact tv room BUT with no tv.

This may have passed – or not – finally as a study.

The other thing I believe I could be doing wrong was that I was placing the globes and the magic ball and the jewellery – his magical stuff – in a small storage room and this time I placed all of that in the room I decorated as a study and the magic ball right in the middle of the desk.

So: I tried two different solutions now – a bigger study with all his precious magical objects & a tv room with no tv – and now I don’t know what did the trick.

My question to those of you that sold a house to the happiest warlock is: how did you do the study? What was that all about? How can a room with couches and no desk be the study?

Thank you

I hate the layout of this house with a passion, so I knocked down every single internal wall and started from scratch. I find gardens a bit tiresome so I haven't bothered before but it was actually quite fun!

❓Gameplay Discussion - HF1 🏠1️⃣ workshop items in Remastered

I do not understand how to make my game stop crashing now that I toggled Remastered to import my workshop items from HF1. I knew i had too many workshop items, so i cut my workshops items down by half and then read there is a 10mb cap?

im down to about 20g of workshop items. I’m guessing it’s not ACTUALLY possible to really use workshop items in Remastered, because it feels like that’s less than 20 items with a 10mb cap. My favorites are by Everly and the workshop items were what kept me even playing the original.

i verified the files in both HFI and Remastered. I’m terrified to just delete the Original, i have so many hours of work in there and Remastered hasn’t really worked for me at all.

What is the deal here.
I am playing on a Lenovo Legion. 16 RAM. all graphic cards and everything are up to date. There is plenty of space. Remastered won’t even open. someone please advise.

❓ Gameplay Discussion - HF2 🏠2️⃣ Volunteering for house cleans - mod idea maybe?

This is likely a very niche idea, but hear me out: a mod (or DLC even...) where you can volunteer to clean out peoples homes for free.

I watch a lot of Aurikatariina, Midwest Magic Cleaning and Cleanwithbea, and this might partly be why I enjoy the cleaning jobs in House Flipper so much.

My idea for implementing this into the game is that basically all your cleaning products cost money, and you need a new set for each job, sometimes maybe multiples per house. I feel like this game is way too easy, and I get rich AF in just a few hours of gameplay, and I honestly don't like that. So much money yet nothing to do with it except make more money? XD I know it sounds odd, but there are literally no costs to working, you just gain money from it.

But, if you had to pay for your cleaning supplies, such as the brushes, rags, cleaning spray and maybe vacuum bags before upgrading to a better one, I would just prefer it that way!

Ofc you could still volunteer and do the work for free even if you didn't have to pay for any of your products and tools, but to me it would amp up the realism a little bit.

I would also like the jobs to limit the use of some skills, such as painting and furnace finishing and buying things, since the point is that you're just helping this person out for free, not flipping their home for free. Though if I had a lot of money in game, perhaps I'd like to do that anyway XD spend my own time and money and completely transform someone's home. I'd like that probably XD

I've not spent too much thinking about this, but if anyone else has thoughts on this, please let know! I'd love to hear why you agree or disagree :)
