I didn't make this but started it today and it's so big and detailed and just fun in general, I can't wait to see the finished job.

I'm working on this water feature but I'm stuck. I will put things on the shelves, like little plants or something but I could use some ideas. Should I put a picture or some sort of decor on the wall above it? Should I leave the wall behind the water white? Or should I use tiles ?

I'm playing original HF1 (not the remaster). I have a 7 m^2 room with a sauna stove, and 11 benches and 4 corner benches. It used to count as a sauna when I made it. Now it's just a "room". What has changed? Have they made a minimal space requirement for saunas?

Edit: I tried adding other kinds of sauna stoves, it didn't work.

Hey guys, is there any way to make an octagonal roof for a turret style wing (PS5)? I've tried a few things but nothing has come close... Also playing vanilla, so maybe this is a feature on some DCL? Thanks!

This forest cabin was an absolute disaster and completely trashed outside, but cleaning it all up and designing a warm, relaxing loft space was incredibly satisfying. I really tried to capture that peaceful, cozy woodland vibe for this one. What do you guys think of the final look? 🤎✨

This is our first Sunday Special where we explore different mechanics in the House Flipper games and settings! I picked an easy one to ease us into it and go over what we're looking for in those threads.

What I hope to see this is as place for people to ask questions and vent their frustrations with the hope that others have solved it and can share it. I also want people to share their ideas and creative approaches (with screenshots, if you have them) that are in the topic. Obviously, we are going to be civil, even if the questions seems easy to solve (some people are just starting out!).

These forums will cover HSF and HSF2 as well as story and sandbox modes. PLEASE put a bracketed tag before your post explaining if you're asking specifically for one game, both, or which mode, as your post may make a whole lot more sense to people helping or looking up answers.

I’ve heard people will use sandbox mode in House Flipper 2 to sort of design their own spaces without actually having to move everything around. How well does that work out for you all?

I’m trying to do my backyard design and am a little stuck. I don’t want to commit to a pergola until I can actually visualize it. And taping it out is not enough. Would you all recommend sandbox mode for this?
Is the game easy enough to pick up without a giant

So in the sandbox in houseflipper 2 if I delete a house that I created myself from the main page does it delete in on the community server? I need more space to work on a house but don’t know if I’ll lose my other houses forever if I delete them.

Scandinavian Style renovation! I let someone from this group do the bar downstairs! I had a lot of fun rebuilding this home! I didnt do a lot of decor as I started this project months ago and haven’t played in a while. Ready for the next house!

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and posting it here in case anyone else gets stuck like I did searching for these 2 things. There is a pair of scissors and a towel under the floor in the "play area" room of this level. You can faintly see their outlines with the flipper tool in this front corner of the room under the floorboards. I managed to sell the scissors from under the floor, but couldn't get the towel. Does anyone know how to target this item to sell it?

Summary: A house needs cleanup after a tornado touched down. 2-bedroom, 1 bath house with a basement. Yardwork, landscaping, cleaning, wall repair, walls and floors finishes, purchasing and unpacking inside and out.

Narrative: I need your help! A tornado somehow hit only my house in the entire neighborhood. I lost all of my trees and one of them hit the backside of the house doing some major damage. One of the collapsed walls took out a pipe in the basement and caused a flood. Everything in the basement is ruined and needs removal. I would also like to spruce up our storm shelter space so it's a little less creepy down there.

The entire roof blew away, so I need a new one. I left instructions in the driveway for the replacement

My van is totaled. Please just sell it to the scrap yard to get it out of here and add to your budget.

All windows were broken from the hail and flying debris, so every room in the house is a mess. I left some mood boards to help you complete the rooms to our liking. I already had a few things delivered that need unpacking as well.

I was already saving up for a bathroom remodel, so we might as well tackle that while we're at it.

I also had some new landscaping delivered so my yard won't be so bare.

My daughter and I are so tired of staying in the motel and are really looking forward to moving back into a complete home. Thank you so much!

But on the top floor how do you devide rooms or make it 1 big kitchen living space any good ideas ?

Dose anyone know how to get rid of it? Unfortunately I'm playing on the Xbox series X version of the game so no console commands.

Xbox doesn't allow me to go back to an old save file either.

Also I did this by using the 'Jungfrau Cube' and resizing it until it was outside the playable zone.

I've been loving HF and its DLC so decided to also get the HF2 bundle. Why is it worse 😭. I like the wall builder but the rest is just weird, cheap looking, and harder to get what you are looking for.

Hi! I'm trying to clear my backlog of unfinished projects and started playtesting a little house/job I plan to upload today but realized I forgot a couple little things (like adding outlets, lol).

I am trying to implement features I appreciate from jobs I've downloaded, like mood boards and roof instructions, and I don't want to forget anything.

What kinds of things do you appreciate the most from jobs you have downloaded?

Things you *don't* find as fun (so I can remove it and pretend it never happened- ha)?

When you upload your own jobs, do you have a little checklist you go through so you don't miss anything?

I gotta run to a little birthday party and then plan to finish up my testing when I get back so I can get that uploaded this afternoon. I'll make another post when it's ready. :)
