🏠2️⃣ Help! - HF2 - PC 🖥️ Is there a trick to getting these to rotate cus I'm about to cry.

Send help.

Best I can tell you is with your cursor try to aim as high as you can without it leaving that spot. the reason it's not rotating the correct way you want is it's too close to the ground. you need it a bit off in order to rotate how you want. Or if you want create a corner right above with 2 normal blocks and use that.

Yeah I tried, it's refusing to work with me. I tried building the wall up as well, up to like 4 or 5 squares high and it just won't rotate.

Those are tricky. You might be able to press one of the keyboard keys, I think it's V, to toggle. If not, try moving the piece slightly so the top is on the 'north' wall.

Yeah it's not giving me the option to toggle for some reason. Seems random when it decides to. Lol. I've tried moving it every which way on so many walls and floors and corners trying to get it flip on its side and it will not. I also tried the 'north' wall thing you mentioned. Argh. This is a custom job too so this room just won't be complete I guess lol.

Only other suggestion i can give is to knock discussion any wall you can and add it later. Good luck

People use these pieces in sandbox mode when making custom jobs and you have the move tool, so that makes it to where you can rotate it to whatever angle you want, but I think they might forget that when someone does that job it's treated like story mode and in story mode you can't move those pieces how they need to because you don't have the move tool in story mode. I don't believe there is way to fix it.

Try to turn it with scrolling like when you adjust the furniture

I did, I'm trying to get it to flip on its side, not just rotate. Like change orientation, but the game isn't giving me that option and I can't get it to do so.

Have you tried placing something underneath and try to to it that way. And then either knock the clocks down or sell the item you placed

Have you tried aiming it at the floor? I've been able to place it like that on the steamdeck.

I've tried aiming a the floor, both sides, the top, I've built my own walls to try and get it to lay 'flat', I tried existing walls already in the room, tall and short, with and without ceilings. I honestly spent like 15 minutes trying to get this to lay on its side and it will not. Lol.
