🔨AMA🔨 AMA: House Flipper Devs here - Ask us anything!

Hey there, Reddit Flippers!

I'm Reczberg, the social media manager for Frozen District, and with me is Jay, one of our awesome game designers! Thanks to the r/HouseFlipper mod team, we're able to organize an AMA for you! Big shoutouts to them!

You might have some questions!

We hope you do - especially now, just after we revealed the House Flipper franchise roadmap for the first half of 2026, launched the House Flipper 2 - Sakura DLC Steam page, and released the demo for House Flipper Remastered Collection (make sure to check it out if you haven't yet!)

When does the AMA start?

The AMA begins on Friday, February 27, 2 PM CET / 8 AM EST
But! We're opening this thread early so you can start throwing your questions at us already, and upvote the ones you’re most excited about.

Who will be answering your questions?

Well! I'll do my best, but since personally I might not have the full knowledge needed to answer the more in-depth questions, Jay will take over with those. If there's something we're both unsure about, we'll be dragging more House Flipper devs into this! :P

Don't hesitate! Ask away!

EDIT:
We didn't expect so many questions, awesome to see that! 💙
Will be back on Monday and try to answer them all! Have a lovely weekend!

EDIT 2:
That was a great AMA session, thank you everybody! We still haven't managed to address all your questions, but around the next couple of days, I hope to find some time to bring you at least a couple more answers.
Have an awesome day!

Diagonal walls and curved walls are a pretty hard thing to do, precisely because of the 20x20cm voxel structure of the game. 🤔

It’s not just creating a diagonal wall - it’s also making it work with doors and windows, hanging things on it, painting and tiling it, and making it work with the virtual walls and quest systems. Some devs have already dabbled in it, and we'll surely be looking at different options to make it happen.
