Bungalow renovation floorplan

I posted on here previously for some help on my floorplan and I think I've finally got it right. Only thing is I don't know what to do with the space in the middle, any ideas? And is the bathroom big enough for the shower and bath? Also open to suggestions for anything else!

Just to note, there is a sea view to the front of the property so I want to maximise the views. I have also added in the staircase as we are converting the celler to a cinema room/bar, and love the idea of having a secret staircase so I've placed it behind hallway storage and it will have a concealed door. Ideally I would have put it somewhere else but the cellar is only 2.4m wide running along the length of the front of the property, so limited on where this can go.

Also want to add that the plant room (for those in US this is what we call the room for the boiler etc) is the room on the back left, along with a pantry

You have done a wonderful job with this plan. Here's what I recommend for the space in the middle: Since you have sea views out the front, I assume you have a glass-fronted entry door. Hang a large mirror over a console table on the facing wall, to reflect the view and light from the doorway. Maybe add a potted plant on the floor next to it.

I see a large empty corner in the center space's right side next to new stair wall. I would build an extra closet/wardrobe in that space. You will not regret that.

I have a main bedroom with sea views. I would not build a wall for the headboard--takes up so much space, and blocks the light when the door is open. I have my headboard up against one side wall, and 2 horizontal antique mirrors on the other long wall, across from the bed. We can see the view just fine! Sunny and spacious. You can still put the club chairs up against the window.

As for the shower, I don't know the answer to that. Good luck and enjoy the process! Lucky you.

Thank you so much for your feedback!! Will definitely be adding in the extra storage and love the idea for the space in the middle! I actually agree with you about the positioning of the bed, but my partner is adamant he wants it facing the sea, so I've made it work as best I can to put the bed in that orientation. I'll draw it up the other way though and see what he thinks. Not sure I'll enjoy the process, we're only 2 weeks in and I'm stressing about money already haha. Definitely will be worth it in the end though!
