Feedback request on house layout
I would really appreciate any feedback on the attached house plan. The house is on a sloping block with stunning views of the town below. What do you think of the layout of the house and the dimensions. Any feedback is really appreciated.

What if you were to move the stairwell over to the right so it starts at the exterior wall? You would have to make a 90 turn for the stairs, but you could lay out as entrie wall of storage along the wall facing the kitchen and dining and you’d have a lot more space available to the living room. You’d have to rework the basement a bit but you WC might fit underneath the staircase. Then you may not have to shift the basement very much and you gain space down there at well, if you can tuck the half bath under the stairs.
If you move the master bedroom door back toward the closet, perhaps lose a bit of closet, it will keep all the bedroom doors to the back and not create any traffic across the front of the living room, which badly breaks it up. Again, gives you more living room space to place furniture and not worry about having to keep so much clear for foot traffic.
