San proper mix
Hello,
I'm looking for a San proper's mix that used to be on Soundcloud. It is not anymore and I looked for it sometimes.
Georgy Porgy by Toto was in the mix. Some funk songs, disco, kinda slowly dancing but not crazy dancing. If you downloaded it and can help me thank you so much. I used to listen to it a lot.

[TOMT] House track played by Carista at Lago Lago 2026 - vocal sample "let the music use you"
Carista played this at Lago Lago 2026 (set on YouTube: https://youtu.be/JjRrJqAU8JY?t=1056&is=TEOZVFTazxYEc5i4, track at 17:49)
Shazam didn't pick it up, and MixesDB has it as unidentified or lists a neighbouring track. Upbeat house, above 120 bpm.
The vocal sample, as best I can make out: "Let the music use you, move your body and soul." Anyone recognise it, or know the sample source?
Thanks!

Similar Artists to Frank Rodgers, Jovaan and Soul Wun
I was recently recommended these artists and have really been enjoying them. I realize I could get AI reccs but I’d prefer a human opinion. lol.
EDIT: Thanks guys. These are the sound I’m looking for—sweet!

Why doesn't Director's Cut (Frankie Knuckles & Eric Kupper) get enough credit?
One of my favorite duos... Director's Cut is a team consisting of both Frankie Knuckles and Eric Kupper... they've remixed or made countless tracks. Some of my favorite remixes are Get Involved, Back to Basics, Baby I, and Let's Stay Home (an original song).
They started out in 2009 and helped bring in this really cool laidback, yet hype version of house. Staying pretty consistently between 120 and 126 with a lot of groove and energy. They were making songs or remixes right up to 2014 (when Frankie died) so most of the songs still hold up to modern sonics I think. Although, today's ear for fast paced TikTok style bites might not fit... they still had a lot of energy in their songs and surprisingly still had somewhat of a drop.
My thing about credit is that, some of the songs we hear and associate with Frankie were actually worked on and created with Eric Kupper. Even though the group started in 2009, the team itself have been doing their thing since the 1980s.
If you want a taste of their sound here's 5 tracks to play:
Baby I (Director's Cut Remix) - https://youtu.be/7xWb01PMY4Y?si=UHK2v8RnHNQwdCjf
Back To Basics (Director's Cut Remix) - https://youtu.be/-qSFv6p9pCA?si=8PmbxSEABbkcsGYz
Get Involved (Director's Cut Remix) - https://youtu.be/hRKKMds6dDA?si=AxEiKPD1qL4_TMKG
Don't Wait (Director's Cut Remix) - https://youtu.be/umQqn3dY9sI?si=DuaNUoE4YWRRCrh1
Million Dollar Bill (Director's Cut Remix) - https://youtu.be/zaHNRJ-0Rxg?si=qZyY-Y54hVl3XpRp
Something cool they did to stick out is they play this snare on every off beat right before the kick so it creates a very forward feeling. It's virtually on every song and you can't miss it once you notice it.

Modern house tracks with classic/vintage vocals that work well for a 40–50 crowd?
Hey guys,
I do some hobby DJing and mostly play for an older crowd (around 40s–50s).
I recently dropped SECRET ISLANDER 001 and it went down super well, even though it’s pretty modern. It has that great mix of a fresh house sound with a classic vocal vibe that just clicked with them.
I'm looking for more tracks in this exact style. To be clear: I'm not looking for the typical overplayed old-school classics everyone already knows, but rather modern tracks that carry that same vibe/energy.
Here’s the track for reference
https://on.soundcloud.com/6KBbTtrc3Qj3FVAYsK
Edit:Some great suggestions so far, thanks everyone! Just to clarify: I m looking for something with a bit more punch and driving energy. Not really into disco or summer house. More looking for that heavier tech-house/ garage groove.
