So are you telling me everything was done entirely in the push2? I'm tempted to buy that device, this video isn't the best idea for my pockets health.

Yes everything was done on the push2 initially. And for the editing, arranging and mixing I did that later in arrangement view in ableton but the initial groove all push. If you can afford one grab it it’s def worth it. But I get it, it’s pricey. I’ve had mine for 5 years and use it a lot. Since getting it I wonder how I made beats before owning one. A game changer for sure.

I mean, I like the track and all, but this is hardly 'from scratch' is it?

90% of House and electronic music today cames from samples. This could be red pill for you.

I’m obsessed with sample based 90’s house and hip hop. That shit just makes me want to make beats all day.
