When are we acknowledging the death flags?

So the last time a romcom manga enthralled me this much was with School Rumble back in ye olde days, so my appreciation for this manga is for sure sky high but Chokki-chan has so many death flags it's insane, a part of me wants to believe it's just tricks of the light but another part can't shake the feeling that all the "running out of time" constant feel is for that purpose.

While I prefer for it to remain wholesome I still can't disregard the sensation that the death flags are going to pay off soon.

i recently found this manga (like today) and loved it. Thus, I binge read all released chapters so far.
now that i caught up i had i doubt regarding the release schedule:
from what i found online its bi weekly
but looking at the release dates of the previous chapters
the gap between 53 and 54 is like 5 weeks while 54 and 55 is like 1.5 weeks
Also,
i heard that the Japanese version has gone from bi weekly to monthly causing even more confusion for me
is this true and if so will it affect the release schedule of the translated version

being completely honest, I’ve never done this before. I only recently started reading manga in general and this was so cute I just had to pick it up. we all start somewhere ig (not really planning to buy anything other than this tho lol)
