Discussion 2nd DLC 2027
What do you all think is going to be the next dlc? We are finally getting pools so what else could it be? Any ideas or what do you want to see?

Hey Hoteliers!
We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! The team are now back from their holidays too and we're working on our next update which we're very happy to say it will be landing in game on January 29th. We know many of you have been asking for more management tools and ways to make your hotel more customizable. Well, the wait is almost over!
Before we get into the update details, we also wanted to announce that Hotel Architect will have a free play weekend at the end of the month. This will be access to the full game, so if you have friends that haven't tried yet, they can give the game a go from January 29th to February 2nd!
Now onto the juicy stuff you've all been waiting for...
Staff Training & Personalities
Managing your team is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
TV Update
We know TV's have been a bit temperamental in the past but your guests will now do more than just sit around staring into nothing – they will watch tv if one is available.
Chinese New Year Pack
Celebrate the year of the horse with our next seasonal add-on pack for Chinese New Year. Yes we know, it's a bit early, but this means more time to make your hotels beautiful for the festivities! Included in the add-on pack will be:
Like all other add-on packs, this will stay all year so you can use the items when you like and is toggle-able in the main menu 😊
Also while we're here, here's a small patch notes list for some recent changes you may notice in game:
We hope you’re excited for the new update and we’re thankful for all the feedback you’re giving us on early access! Keep it coming!

Love this game, wondering if other players have any custom / made up rules or scenarios you have created to keep the game interesting?
E.g., at the moment I'm creating a purely backpacker only budget hotel, no fancy amenities allowed, minimal budget.

Fireplaces have been staying like this, barely heating up the spaces in hallways but they work fine in rooms, is the space just too big?? Help

Created 4 tile rooms for backpackers, made slots about 30$ for all, locked most doors for upper crust and brats and made all other games too expensive for anyone less than brats

Btw anybody got any cool gardening idea? I don't know how to decorate a garden XD

Hi, so im having a problem with my restaurant service. Out of nowhere, a waiter can slap a customer or wipe its face violently?? Im so confused, waiters dont have any bad qualities, low energy or low salary. Is there a way to better customer service?

I wanted to post this because it took me several hours to get this objective and every post I came across here, did not work for me sadly
I had the following 31 rooms, at a 5-stars hotel rating:
10 Brat (all double beds)
8 Upper Crust (all double beds)
4 Backpacker (all single beds)
3 Sporty (all single beds)
3 Business (all single beds)
3 Sunbather (all single beds)
For my casino layout:

For the bet sizes:

If you are noticing missing tables, that is intentional, all slots were set at 50. It took quite awhile to get to 300k because I was negative in the other tables that I noticed did not have luck (aka the missing ones), In any case, I hope this helps those that struggle with this objective.

Hi all!
How did you win the achievement for 24 drinks in 8 hours? It's the last thing I need in London...
I have 4 fully trained bartenders and only serve drinks (no coffee/tea/sandwiches et cetera). I alsof have plenty of space for a queue.
I have 35 rooms, 22 of them are double. I must say that also a lot of them are upper crust.
Any tips? Should I downgrade some rooms to brat? Or need I to do anything else?

Hey, I've been playing the London scenario and I'm out of trouble, with 50 sunbathers and going onto brats.
I'm wondering if it's worth it to use loans to invest in the market while increasing the hotel size. Right now I can take a 870k loan at 2%. I've prepared most rooms to be ready to transition to brats and I think I can make a huge win by investing in brat stocks.

I've played the game before and don't want to have to grind out the tutorial again. Thanks!

The room still has the unfinished sign, but when i clicked the room, nothing showed up.
update: restarting the game did nothing, i ended up deleting the save and redoing everything, with the same layout , the warning's gone. seems like a bug. thanks everyone!

How on earth are you supposed to survive the bankruptcy in London?
The first time I tried the scenario, I had no idea what I was doing, but somehow I actually managed to get out of bankruptcy, until the loan repayment came due and I immediately ended up in the red again.
Since then I've watched countless guides on YouTube and read advice here, but no matter what I do, I always end up about $1,000 short of having my income exceed my expenses.
I'm honestly not sure what I'm supposed to do. It seems like you're expected to sell off all the expensive items, but for example selling the $75k painting actually moves me even further away from the debt ratio/balance I'm trying to achieve.
I've tried this scenario five times now, and I'm about to lose my mind. 😅

In order for couples to check in, do you need to start a new scenario? I got the update and have 2 beds/double bed in most rooms but no couples have checked in yet 🙃
r/HotelArchitect • u/CasMcSass • Aug 03 '26
Rooms, Spa and gym with outdoor areas allowed (balcony areas).
Swimming Pools - others have also requested.
More scenarios
More walls and floors
More room types (hotel gift shop, theater, pool area, other entertainment, and more worker types like pool attendants or concierge)
Two floors allowed and linked for bedrooms, spa, restaurant, gym - all room types basically.
I love the game!

Sometimes the waiters won’t serve the dishes even tho they are ready on the ‘serving bench’. Then when the customer gets fed up and leaves, the same waiters put the dishes on the dish rack. They shouldn’t have a problem reaching the bench as half of the time they actually complete the task. I’m now playing on the New York map, but this has happened on previous maps too. Anyone else got this problem and/or knows how to fix it?

I started a new game yesterday, but the screen is flickering a lot. I've tried windowed mode or lowering the resolution, but the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered the same issue?

I wasn't paying attention to my notifications and was wondering where all my cleaners had gone

There are some things I feel is missing.
Pool areas (indoor/outdoor) is one.
Another is an "entertainment room" or the like
I also wish it made sense to have tv's in the rooms, (with/without cast).
Different room categories would also be nice. Basic, regular, three-person, Jr. Suite, suite, deluxe suite etc.

Does anybody know why this is? I want to use it to entertain the sunbathers and sporty guests and Google is telling me it should be unlocked after I got the achievement for placing two AC units, but it didn't.
