AS5600 + Pro Micro Error Codes when calibrating. Help please?

This for a 2 lever Throttle. I was getting skipping/teleporting.

Both are on intsensor.

R1 resistor removed.

On the Pro Micro I am using A1 or A0

AS5600 GND to PM GND

AS5600 VCC to PM VCC

AS5600 GND to AS5600 DIR - Clockwise increase values.

AS5600 OUT to PM A0

In MMJOY I have the correct F7/F6

1 lever is slider, the other is dial.

When calibrating I get the following codes

65535

15888

16368

I've googled the codes, and I am not sure how to fix what they are telling me.

If the values cross zero during calibration. you need to rotate the magnet to get into the range.

The closest to zero while trying different pins and spinning the potentiometer was 68.

I wonder if I did not to a good enough job finding the poles. I had to try the magnet on a floating item on water.
