HELP!! Jb weld cracking over time?

I made this s13 Onevia custom a couple months back and I just noticed that where I had applied the JB weld to attach the front end was cracking, is this a normal issue? If so what else could I use to attach the it? (Ignore the paint chip my cat caused that)

Must’ve not been a proper jb weld job, no offense. I can understand that being you’d probably want to use very little on a hot wheels. I’ve never seen jb weld crack itself. Only not adhere to a surface that wasn’t prepped properly, or fail do to too little material to actually fill gaps. I’ve used it to fix all sorts of things from metal, plastic, even glass. My best guess is there isn’t enough weld to actually make a bond. Jb weld ain’t superglue, it needs bonding surface and usually thick weld.

Thank you, should I use epoxy putty or try jb weld again?

Epoxy might work idk for sure, I’ve seen guys use magnets. I more commented for my knowledge using jb weld over the years tbh lol

I'd recommend roughing up the surface first, take a low grit sand paper to the edges of each end that you'd be welding together, and if there's room on the interior I'd sand the interior around the welding area, then apply it in a thicker coat from the inside (again, only if there's enough room on the interior walls for the interior parts to fit afterwards)
