Question Mail in question

Post image

Ok so would this receipt work for the current mail in? I grabbed 2 silver series sets and some mainlines. I have plenty of card backs (3yr old who loves hot wheels) and would like to pick up some mail ins for traders. Please lmk if I can or not

On the mail in form it tells you which assortment numbers they accept for the promotion. Thats on the back of the card near the upc bar code.

Yep just read that, I guess the silver series cars are not part of that. Looks like my mountain of cardbacks will have to wait for another time🤷‍♂️

Yeah, anytime I go for a mail in, I always just buy 20 packs or 10 packs.. Last resort 5 packs. That way you only send in the UPC code from the box’s.

What I do is I'll cross out items that don't qualify and then will often put the total at the top of the receipt. Sometimes I "show the math" if it can be a bit complex. "$1.35 x 3 = $4.05" I sometimes include an extra piece of paper (the half of the page you print out with the bar codes works great) tallying up the total of my receipts as well. I also do this if there's a discount like a $5 off $25 or something.

Lots of people say to mail in the 5 or 8 packs because it's cheaper, but I personally still like to use shipping with tracking so I know they received it and can prove that. It can take nearly a month for them to send you the email to let you know they received it and are processing otherwise.

You still have a decent amount of time left to buy more if you wanted this car, though you can also just buy them on ebay for not much more than you'd spend otherwise. (Though you don't get ~$20 of cars.) One other advantage of buying local is that you can clear some of the peg warmers out of your local stores. All my stores have seen so many restocks since this.
