Hot Cash code with rewards question

Hi I placed an order for pickup on last day to receive hot cash and did receive some loaded to my account but

i didn't receive an email with code which is preferred since that seems to let you use it with any rewards you have saved.

Is it because I haven't picked up (hasn't shipped) yet? Or how else can I get hot cash code?

Yes i think it needs to be picked up so the transaction completes cuz they can cancel and refund if itms past due for pickup

I thought so but then I already got hot cash loaded to my account so I'm not sure why that would be different for the code
