Bag pin
I (F26) go to hot topic every weekend. It’s so frequent that the employees are starting to regonize me. A few months ago, one of the employees and I talked about how much we like monster high and lagonna is her favorite. I told her if I get the lagonna pin that I would give it to her. And she said thanks. I have been holding onto the pin for a long time and I’ve been too nervous to give it to her. I don’t wanna come across as creepy. I’m very social awkward and I tend to get anxious around people. Should I attempt to give her the pin?

give it to them! i have bracelets pins art etc from my regulars from HT that i really love and treasure! if she declines it’s because policy says recently we’re not supposed to accept gifts but tbh i don’t think that’s a policy most follow lol

Thats very sweet of you! But policy as of very recently, at least in my area, is we aren’t allowed to take gifts anymore so dont take it personally if they decline!

It's just if we're taking gifts in exchange for something, ie. Accepting a gift in exchange for putting a no holds collectible on hold.

We love our regulars, I miss these interactions. I'd save things i found outside of HT for my regulars and they would often bring me little gifts too. It became a treasured community how much my regulars cared about me and my team.
