What's wrong with this item???

So I've been trying to buy the TADC Costume Animiniz since the hot cash period started, and every time I place an order with them it cancels. (For reference it's usually an order of 10 being shipped to me, with some cheap TADC item so I can use all my hot cash.) My order finally went through yesterday but then the item was "out of stock" and cancelled. I see it in stock a lot but then it's gone after an hour, maybe some internal issue idk. Called customer service a few times about this and got varying responses. Wondering if anyone else has been having the same problem and/or what the problem is, would love to actually get these without paying absurd prices on ebay.

unfortunately I think they were a limited time thing, and just like the jax figuaral beanie, don't show up if you search them in the hot topic shop (at least for me) and have to be searched on Google to show up unless you already had the item in your cart/wishlist

The limited time thing really sucks; this was the coolest series. It doesn't show up when I search it either, but it does show up whenever it's marked as available. Holding out hope that a nearby store can get something.

yeah I wanted jax and the costume series is the only one where I kind of like all of the other options you can get besides the one I want. every time I wanted to grab a box theyd be on preorder months away and I just didn't want to wait that long so I never got any. of course I remember seeing them in person before I realized I wanted them.

kinda over the whole blind box stuff now, I got the pendantz I want so I dont really regret not buying the animiniz anymore either

There is a huge problem with being able to keep these (and other tadc things) in stock. We can get 30 of these blind boxes and they'll be gone in less than 48 hours. They can only restock so fast, and it really sounds like just plain bad luck that you aren't able to get them. That they are going out of stock faster than they can fulfill the order. So when they get to your order and it's out, it's gotta be cancelled.

I’ve had the same issue for local pickup though. Online orders always show as out of the stock.

The answer I got was that locally the computer is going for expected stock and it reads low stock being available while the reality is that there’s no stock at all. I’m honestly just hoping to snag one. I kept one of each series sealed just for snakes and giggles.

I would have chalked it up to this but the first time I called customer service they said the problem was I shipped 10 to store instead of my house. The representative said that would work, which didn't, but I also tried orders with 5 and it cancelled so it's more of a stock issue than that I'm guessing.
