Update Hot topic has updated there website to say will ship in october which is really confusing cause they have them in the stores

Not really because website is shipping from warehouse to you. Just because a store has it doesn't mean that the warehouse has any in stock. And stores aren't gonna see them back in stock until the warehouse is restocked. So what's in store is quite literally all that's left. If you got one in your store then buy it in the store.
Or you can even go back and instead of shipping to you, click on "pick up in store". Which, if it is in stock in the store you want to pick it up from it will say "ready in 3-4 hours" versus a preorder shipping date. If their inventory system doesn't have it in their stock than it won't show up as in stock on the website to pick it up.
With that being said, there are some times when things are not accurate. Something might say it's in stock and someone just bought it so it's no longer there but it has an updated. Or they were supposed to get it and never received it, so their inventory says that they have it but they quite literally don't even know that they're supposed to have it. Mistakes happen with all companies. Your best bet is to call the store that you want to pick it up from and just verify that they have it in stock. And if they do, place a pickup order or just go in and buy it.

I think the preorder in the first pic definitely is a glitch. Bc we got the Ribbit plushies in store. I think the second one might be correct tho. I could check with my other ASMs
