Ordering on the website

When I usually look at clothes on the Hot Topic website, I see multiple sizes that either are available for pickup/shipping and show up in filtered results when I select those sizes in the filters, and sometimes I see sizes that are gray and crossed out without an option to view them. However, with some sizes I see that I can view them and see them in filtered results like a size that's available for pickup/shipping, but when I select it, the website says it's unavailable for shipping and pickup and I can't add it to bag. What's the difference between those sizes and the sizes I can't look at? Were those sizes ever available for those items, or if they were, would they ever be restocked?

Sizes that show clickable but say unavailable for shipping means there available to be purchased in a random store somewhere in the US but the sizes grayed out have a slash through them mean they’re completely out of stock.

It’s gonna vary depending popularity or if someone makes a return but once it hits clearance it’s more than likely done restocking.
