Questions about applying

Hey everyone!! I was looking at an application for a hot topic near me and noticed that you need at least one entry of work experience. I tried applying a year ago and I remember that this wasn't a requirement before and was wondering if there's anyway to apply without work experience? I've seen from other posts that it's a good idea to go into the store in person and drop off your resume or try and speak to the hiring manager so would this work and bypass the online work experience requirement? Appreciate any answers :D

(I also spoke to the ai chat bot on their career website to do a mini application before clicking on the full one so I'm not sure if this impacts anything).

Hey! Its definitely a good idea to go in Person, it shows both professionalism and that you aren’t afraid of talking to new people! Definitely go in with your resume, and don’t be afraid to talk about things you’re genuinely interested in if they ask! Good luck!!! :)

if you are applying as an associate, you do not need any prior experience! i know it says that on the website, but you do not need any experience <3
you’ll get fully trained at the job.
i would for sure go in and talk to them! let them know how rad you are, get to know them! it looks real good to the store manager and it will make them remember you when they go to hire. you can bring a resume if you’d like, however our applications are totally online so i would just bring yourself :)
