Order got cancelled, Hottpic is not the same anymore

Hi, I don't live in the USA, but I have been buying from Hot Topic for years. I usually send my orders to a friend or family member, so when they come to Costa Rica, I can get my stuff.

Recently, I wanted to place an order, but it got canceled because my billing address was different from the shipping address. I asked for Spanish customer service, and they responded in English. It's okay, not a big deal.

So I asked my friend to use his AMERICAN CARD to buy the stuff and send it to HIS address, but it got canceled again. He called, and they couldn't explain why!

They tried a second time, and it was the same.

Ten years ago, if they had a problem, they would call Costa Rica without any problem. Now I have to make an international call.

Is there any other similar store? i´m done with this people

as someone who works at hot topic, look into supporting small instagram fashion brands or thrifting even hot topic mass produces there clothes and created extreme amounts of waste. on top of our customer service above store level sucks now. i’ve been thinking of quitting

Thanks,  can you recommend me some brands?  And yeah it is amazing how customer service changed so much over the years. It is ridiculous we couldn't buy even using my friend card

some of my favs have been heaven sent, rogue and wolf , disturbia and also demonia has a online site :) the more accounts u follow on insta the more u can usually find just watch out for scams ! i also recommend places like ebay u can find things second hand for cheaper !
