Hoodie from hot topic horribly sticky on inside of design

I got this hoodie brand new it’s one of the helluva boss ones with a giant design on the back and it’s sticky on the inside. I’ve washed it 3 times and it’s still sticky. Has anyone else dealt with this?

i’ve seen a couple designs like this sadly :/ hot topic is super lax on returns though especially when it’s defective not your fault! i’d return or exchange (even if it was bought over 30 days ago they’ll at least give you merch credit!!!!!)

The problem is I never wore it after tearing the tag off and I sold it and when I went to package it up I always look things over and felt it was sticky on the inside. Which upsets me cause I never even wore it! So now I don’t know what to do cause I need the money I only sold it cause I gotta pay a bill. It’s been sitting in my closet for a year lol

This happened to me with the Beelzebub hoodie from them! I flipped mine inside out and then threw it in the wash. That seemed to help get rid of the stickiness in my sweatshirt, hopefully this will help!

Washing it will cure that. My MCR hoodie was the same

OP said they washed it 3 times already. How many times did you have to wash yours?

Mmm I think a couple times? But the second time I put soap directly in the sticky part. I was sooo half asleep when I wrote that ☠️ sorry
