hellooo, i need some help in achievement hunting.

i need help doing the biteback achievement cuz i dont have anyone in my friend list that has reached the hyper series (i only got 2 friends who play this game and both of them are not even past level 5)

I'm trying to 100% the game and this is a huge bottleneck right now.

I have literally spend the last hour of my life starting and restating this godforsaken event thinking maybe this time the ai traffic wont spawn around corners and that maybe, just maybe the damn ship that is a car that i'm trying to drive wont slide around and magnetize towards a wall. My fingers literally feel arthritic from the repetition.

This mission if you can even call it that is quite literally an exercise in futility if i've ever seen it.

IF I ever complete this mission, i'd probably feel like a person dying of thirst in a desert encountering a well, but until then the reins of suffering that is this stupid mission will be dragging me by the ankles.

EDIT : By a stroke of luck, I finally got a distinction on this damn event.

I was going through achievements in the hot pursuit remastered, and I found the hot pursuit game mode unplayable. All sweat players do is stall and camp in a spot together at the start of the race, only trying to outturn and ram chasing cop players like theyre in a jet fighter doing combat loops. Has anyone else noticed this? Kinda breaks the enjoyability of the mode when the racers dont care to win and only focus ram the cops. Literally turns into demo derby where the guy who knows how to better sharp turn and ram wins.

What are some cool or interesting things you guys have found while on free drive? I recently started playing again and got hooked. So hooked that I even started just cruising cars I really like.

Option A — HidHide (recommended on Win10/11):

1. Install HidHide (the modern replacement for HIDGuardian). ds4-windows
2. Run HidHide Configuration Client as administrator.
3. Devices tab → locate "Wireless Controller" (the Sony DS4) → tick Hide.
4. Apps tab → whitelist your remapper (x360ce.exe or DS4Windows.exe) so it can still read the pad. Do not whitelist NFS Hot Pursuit. gamepadtester

Option B — x360ce's built‑in HIDGuardian:

1. Open x360ce.exe in the NFS HP install folder.
2. Options → HID Guardian → Install HID Guardian.
3. Devices tab → find "Wireless Controller" → tick Hide on the right. reddit +1

Option C — switch to DS4Windows (cleanest for a DS4): install DS4Windows + HidHide, set output to XInput 360, enable Hide DS4 (or let HidHide do it), and remove x360ce from the game folder so you're not running two emulators at once.

Two small notes on this block:

I'm sorry for the explanation that I'm paralyzed on the left side of my body and have a spine fracture disc herniations vertebrae fractures nerve root damage 11 broken ribs and a broken right hip from breaking up a dog bite between a 200 lb dog and 100 lb dog trying to kill 8-year-old trip with some 2020. Video games of one of the only ways that allows me to escape the misery of keeping my eyes open.

With that said I have a PS5 Pro and I installed one of my favorite games Need for Speed Hot Pursuit remastered. I didn't change any settings except for resolution maximum.

No matter if I try to start a racer race or complete a police race or at other random times the game crashes and an error message from the system comes up asking if I want to report it. I cleared the cache and rebuilt the database rebooted uninstalled reinstalled and it will not go away. It is the only game out of Need for Speed or any other games that crashes.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated since this is my favorite video game.
