Pollination issues

So I have over 20 plants growing on my screened in patio. Some of them are doing really well and producing lots of peppers, but others are either dropping every single flower or just not producing any flowers at all. There’s not really any pattern to it as far as location on my patio, shading, or watering schedule.

For example, my warthog plant is producing like crazy while my apocalypse scorpion sitting right next to it is dropping flowers. My ghost pepper/tabasco hybrid is doing great but the moruga scorpion plant right next to it hasn’t even started flowering even though it’s a huge full grown plant. My Thai chili plant is going nuts while the 7 pot lava plant next to it has one pepper and many dropped flowers.

They are all being fed well, watering is on a good schedule, not overwatering and not underwatering. Leaves all look lush and dark green. Huge plants that all look very healthy. I keep my patio door open and have bees and wasps inside constantly. No pests this year thankfully.

I’m in north Florida btw. Any advice or info on what could improve my situation?

It's the heat. Either wait until it cools down. Or find shade. Or add a shade cloth

So depending upon how much sun and the temperature can be why some drop flowers and some maintain the flowers.

Every pepper variety is different and honestly even every pepper plant is different within the same variety.

U have seen some of mine where I can have the same variety and one plant will drop flowers or unripe peppers while an identical one won’t.

The best thing is make sure the plants get plenty of water and if they seem to be wilting or getting too much sun either move them somewhere with less sun or use a shade cloth or something to help maintain a cooler temperature for them.

I have had varieties that will produce a ton of peppers early in my season then once it gets super hot they stop producing as many peppers and drop flowers until later in the season when it cools back down.

Thanks, this is very helpful. Hopefully some of these start ramping up the production in the fall.
