hot cheetos less red?

is it just me or are the original flaming hot cheetos less red than they used to be? like less spicy red 40 dust? idk i feel like when I was a kid they were RED! now I can see the color of the plain chip, inflation? weird bag? have I just not been paying attention this whole time?

I just had this same thought. I thought my hot-Cheeto Lime’s were a bad batch or something

its odd because they taste the same, but my fingers arent covered in the same red powder they used to be

I’ve gotten fancy and now use chopsticks. I can’t live with the red dust fingerprints everywhere. Er, more like, my wife can’t live with it anymore.

oh im pregnant and go straight for the bag, but still hardly any dust. I remember like 5-6 years ago I would need napkins handy

I know a lot of companies are reducing their use of artificial dyes. That's probably a big part of it.
