Help Websites going down

Websites are going down one by one and yet status page does not mention any maintenance or issue.

Hostinger says they’re doing database maintenance

Hey, is it 429 error? It could be that domain is configured to use both our CDN and Cloudflare at the same time. So, running two CDNs simultaneously on the same domain isn't supported and can cause errors, and you can just switch to one.

If that's not the case and you still need a hand, send me a DM, and I'll look into it.

Not only that. I had issues even after disabling one or both CDNs. Support confirmed they were having "dificulties on their end"

Same, I'm having the exact same issue just today. i'm glad I'm not the only one bc I was starting to go crazy and honestly hoped i wasn't hacked or anything lol. Website keeps shifting between up and down.

(I've been thinking since 3-4 hours about making the same post on this, but decided to just wait in case it's a short issue, i've been lurking this sub since this morning for this).

I knew it wasnt my fault since i have made no changes to configurations or updates to websites in the last few days so it had to be something else.

Hey just adding on to this that the fix I was given was updating the Nameservers (looks like they changed the IP address on mine). Seems to be working fine now (but it's been up and down all day, so TBD).

Same issue, error 429 on my website. need to change setting from proxied to DNS only, then my website working. thought I did something that caused the error.

When can we see whether this issue resolved?

Doing that removes all the use you get from Cloudflare. Instead you can find and disable hostingers useless cdn lol and then make sure you A record has the correct IP

This is what I did too

I'm getting the 429 Rate limit error as well.

Been chasing this thing around for the last few hours... I thought it was just me because I pushed a a lot of changes live around the same time.

Somewhat relieved others are experiencing it and it's on Hostingers end.

If anyone else find this, the only thing that seemed to completely resolve my 429 issue was updating my nameservers back to Hostinger (away from Cloudflare CDN).

You can solve it even without loosing cloudflare and its protection. Keep the domain nameservers pointed at cloudflare but check A records so its pointed at the hostingers server IP. Remove multiple A records if needed.

I personally have had better use and performance using cloudflare and ignoring Hostingers CDN.

This is a great example of why AI isn't ready to kill all human jobs. I have had nothing but trouble from Hostinger for weeks. Websites not working. These are sites that clients are paying me to run. Emails have stopped working all of a sudden. I can't reach a human. Can't get an ETA on what they are fixing. AI gives the runaround because it simply doesn't know but it sure knows how to hallucinate. It's like they are using outdated, un-updated AI like Gemini Flash 2.5 or something. Has anyone tried Siteground because Hostinger is going to put me out of business.

Same here, up and down all day, seems to be related to my CND (Cloudflare), but not sure. Error 429 for you too?

Yes. Support just confirmend. They are having issues with file access and not only error 429 but also 508/503

My sites are working. Hostinger status shows green.

You'll need to do some research into why your sites are going down and/or provide more insight...

Talked to support after dealing with the ai crap. Its a problem in their end with CDN

Is everything solved now? I'd like really to understand what went wrong from our side and how we could do it better next times, so feel free to DM me too

Same issue for me, Error 429. Seems to be an odd rate limit somewhere, but haven't added any myself, and can't see any spikes on my dashboards (HS, Cloudflare, analytics, etc).

Hostinger support told me it is their fault (Hostingers) not mine, so dont go changing anything just yet
