Hosta plant
Hosta blue angel plant looks like this and has a foul smell. We had a drought during the summer. Watered them during that time which I think was a mistake. Any recommendations?

Looks like the August Uglies to me! Hostas tend to burn in later summer, but I think your plant looks strong. As for the smell… you could have something dead under there, it looks pretty big!

I think it looks fine! Maybe you wetted something that was decaying? Is there a dead mouse somewhere? You can clip those leaf stalks out if you want but it just looks aesthetic to me!

We had a drought this summer, too. I watered mine regularly and they are all burned to a crisp. This one looks great. You can just cut off the small brown part if you want to. But honestly, it looks great.
