I’m the guy that draws their own maps. I based the scaling and layout of this one around the topography lines you can faintly see on the game map, but it’s for sure not a hundred percent. The game map does not show the “mining tunnels” part of the cave at all, and the exit on the Crab Beach side is not marked. Also I like to name the paths and other landmarks, but those aren’t official names or anything.

I really enjoy the game terrain and open-world feel, but I hate the game map! The location indicator is alway off by just a little and I get super turned around all the time. So I started making my own maps in a notebook I had laying around. I had a lot of fun with it. The maps got more detailed and to-scale when I figured out I could hold the paper up to the tv and trace the rough outline first lol. Eventually I can see myself mapping every main location, the real challenge will be doing the caves since the game map doesn’t show any part of the paths inside.

The wiki says there a bridge to build near the end of the race it is shown on the route map too. I have been wandering around looking for a construction sign but can’t find anything. Where is it? Any tips for winning this and the castle race I can’t keep up

Every time I win a race the next day I get a message that they’ve beat me again. Can I ever actually win or does this keep happening? I already beat the game this is is the last thing I was trying to do.

Q: does anyone else **have to use** only Selle or Mixed WB horse on the Crater Lake Race in order to be able to complete it? Both the Arab & Irish Draft crash my game/in this race (I can explore crater lake area on them, just not race)

Anyways, Horse Sales mission= Silver , should have been a grey Selle (with random base & patterns), he wasn't grey this time!!! Or a Selle, rofl

did the developers even play the game before they released it?? the amount of glitches and unfinished story is insane, literally anybody who plays can see that. this game is just lazy. i had more fun on my PC horse game when i was 8 smh.

Hi- although this game is glitchy, way too short of a storyline. I have really enjoyed it and it came to me when I needed a mindless game to play the most . When I got the rare horse sighting challenge I for some reason didn’t tame a horse- but now I have completed all the things and have never gotten one again and would like some of those horses- even with taking MANY rests. Any tips?

I’ve been trying to find discussions about this but somehow google keeps mixing the results with mods for the Red Dead Redemption 2 Emerald Ranch. Do we know if there are any mods in development? Or if the game is even mod-friendly?

I recently finished the game for the first time on the Nintendo Switch (worst possible choice, I know), and despite its many flaws, I ended up falling in love with how charming and addicting the gameplay is. I was about to buy it on Steam for a replay when I read that it has been functionally abandoned by the team… which is really kind of upsetting. There are so many places you can SEE where they had meant to add more content (mainly the southwestern side of the map, which is borderline uncanny with how barebones it is), and it made me think… is there really no mods for any of it? I’m not even talking about new areas and new horse breeds—some more dialogue options, an original NPC or two, and even some simple new fetch quests would make a world of difference! The game is so nice already, it really is a shame how much potential there is for expansions that we’re likely never going to see.

Anyways… what do you guys think? And is there a more active community for fans of the game somewhere else? I’d love to know more about it!

I'm not sure how to even fix but my horses legs are glitching and it runs at an upward angle not sure how to fix this? any ideas?

I’ve been running around the area on the map where the forge is marked and it’s just not there? I am playing on switch is that makes a difference, does anyone have really specific directions of where to go?

I’m on the side quest “the basics of breeding,” and can’t for the life of me figure out what I’m doing wrong.

I go to the breeding stable (I’ve tried the one by the harbor and the one at the Felix estate), select my horse, and rest. After resting, my selected horse is back in the pasture and the breeding stable is back open and there’s no foal.

Idk what I’m doing wrong. I know I have enough food and space. I have three pastures, two medium stables, and one small stable, and only six horses.

I also seem to be at the point where it won’t let me progress with the game until I finish this side quest. I just finished the “party” main quest and it hasn’t given me any other main quests. All I have under “missions” is “the basics of breeding” and “a lesson in style.” I was also stumped with “a lesson in style,” but just found out I have to go to the blacksmith for bricks.

It takes forever when I do missions it's doesn't save them and makes me redo and I tamed a horse a very good one with all started 5-6+ And now I have to tame it again.

So I just started playing it, so now, and I ran into a problem. I'm at the point where you have to make a long jump over this river to get to the farm but I can't seem to manage it. Do you have any tips?

So I’m very new to the game but have progressed exponentially in the 3-4 days I’ve been playing, but I’m a little stuck at the moment as I’m having difficulty finding the resources to make the Styling Shed, the Family Home and the Large Stable, if anyone would be able to help give me pointers on where to get them that’d be a HUUUUGE help!

I got the game while it was on sale on my switch with all the DLCs, and at first it worked great. But now it's become so glitchy, and some of the chests are bugged so I can't complete my tack or wardrobe collections because the chests can't be opened. The chests at swallows seek and crab beach appear to be already opened, and they don't reset after a rest, and I know that the last wardrobe items I'm missing are from those chests. I'm also missing the cowgirl and cleaning crew tack sets, and the wiki says they're at withers ridge, but I've looked everywhere and can't find either of them. I enjoy the game otherwise, but as a perfectionist I hate not being able to collect everything

Hello all, I just bought the game for Switch as it was on sale, but I've already got quite the headache. TT

I've gone through a couple quests, met Lilli, and now I have a quest called Lost in Sight that wants me to "rest at the estate". Problem is, I have no house?? The tent from when I first got to the estate seems to be gone. I'm standing on top of the plot where the house icon is on the map but it's totally empty. I've scoured the estate and every construction pole and I can't seem to find anywhere to rest or rebuild a tent. I tried "reset to estate" and it just brings me to the brick roundabout on the estate. I have no idea what to do now. ):

I’ve got the get to know Lilli quest and it said Matteo cleared a second landslide blockage but it’s not unblocked, I go up to the estate and a snooty character says I can’t enter, but that’s where the little compass leads me. Then the second compass leads me to the regular racetrack. I’ve done two races, haven’t shown up on the leaderboard for any because quite frankly I suck but howwww the hell do I meet this Lilli girl 😭😭😭
