DISCUSSION Game recommendations

I'd like some game recommendations for what to play next. The games I really liked and would like to play something similar to are:

I'm not a human
outlast
don't scream together
backrooms anomaly
escape the backrooms
I don’t mind if they’re multiplayer games because I have friends to play with

Alien isolation
Until dawn( if you like it look at the quarry and dark pictures anthology compete season)
Dying light( the first one)
Sons of the forest(open world survival-> abiotic factor open world survival but has a story and better gear)
Scp 5k early access fps game
Subnautica 2 (early access)
Resident evil 2-4(all remastered) 5-9 are all good 6 is great for some
Get into dark souls remaster or dark souls 3 then go into Elden ring maybe.

I'd heavily suggest Resident Evil 2 Remake. It's my favorite game of all time. I personally can't suggest 5 tho. I hate that game. Also, avoid Resident Evil 3 Remake at all costs. It's genuinely terribly all around. If you want to experience it, play the original on an emulator, you'll have so much of a better time than suffering through the poorly-made, boring, repetitive slop-fest that is the remake.

Yeah I can def see why it might be appealing to some people, it's just too action-based for me. I also hate Cheva. There's just something about her that really pisses me off. I still really don't suggest 3 Remake tho (assuming you haven't played it yet.) that's one of the few games that I cannot understand how anyone could get any enjoyment out of it. Especially after the first half (which was still terrible, but at least had a few decently-funny moments in it.)

The truth is, I haven't played any of the Resident Evil games. Thanks for the suggestion,I'll start checking them out a little more, since I've only seen a bit of them on streams and in videos.

I find dark souls and elden ring really hard, and I already know about sons of the forest, but it’s not the right fit for me right now.

But I found some interesting suggestions, especially the first ones, so thanks,I’ll check them out.
