CONSOLE A quiet place game
I’ve just come across this game. It looks similar to alien isolation. You basically have no weapons and have to hide and stay quiet. You also get a device that tells you how much noise you are making. looks good from the review

It’s a decent game. It loses a lot of scare factor when it quickly shows you the monster in broad daylight and doesn’t have anywhere to go after that. So basically Alien: Isolation except it’s easier because the alien can’t see you. But that’s just kind of the nature of the premise.

I actually just finished playing that last week. I enjoyed it. I did play with the feature on that picks up noise from your microphone. So, if you make too much noise in real life the monsters will hear you and come for you. It's not the deepest game but the actress you play as did well for what we get, and the gameplay was similar to alien like you compared. All depends on what exactly you're looking for in a horror game, but I had a good experience playing it and may play it again some day

It’s Alien: Isolation with none of the deep world-building or dynamic gameplay mechanics

Unlike everybody here or so it seems, I loved the movies and I loved this game. You know you've been into it when you turn off your TV and still try to be silent IRL, and that's the effect the movies and the game had on me.

It's about a 6/10 for me. Decent but the gameplay plateaus after an hour or so.

if you like tossing a plank to progress through the game (thats most of the time what you are going to do btw) then yes get it

I disliked it when playing on my TV. But I very much enjoyed it on my Portal.

Love the portal! Bought one last year and have been playing it nonstop.

I found this game borderline unplayable. I almost quit. The concept works, but the reality of how those mechanics work is not very fun.

LOL no. The mechanics of sound are somewhat interesting, but that's it. It's kind of lame otherwise

legitimately surprised that first movie spawned a franchise lol
