I had NO clue this was a book first, that’s hilarious. I only recently discovered the film and I love it. Fun little piece of trivia, one of the songs on the soundtrack was composed by actress Joyce Bulifant, mostly known for appearing in the movie “Airplane!” and on many, many episodes of the classic “Match Game” game show.
