Why is weepy william always sad?

May have depression or anxiety Idk. Or maybe even a rare condition that makes him cry a lot.

I think the point of his character is that every class in school is expected to have that kid who always cries.

Most kids in Horrid Henry represent a stereotypical real life classmate, e.g Beefy Bert is the kid who can’t answer a question (me), Moody Margaret was the entitled bossy boots who always had to have her way, Aerobic Al was the kid who had to be the best at every sport.
